New “Gangster” Themed Hip-Hop Video from Madchild

As one-third the critically-acclaimed Canadian rap trio Swollen Members, Shane “Madchild” Bunting had earned awards and worked with some of the most prolific names in the music biz, Nelly Furtado and Everlast among them.  Swollen was even handed a Juno (the Canadian equivalent of Grammy) four times since the turn of the new millennium.

Bunting however has seen, invited really, his fair share of personal demons and tribulations over the last decade, and makes no bones about his bad choices on his solo effort – Dope Sick.  From sex to drugs, biker gangs to being banned from entry into the U.S., Madchild has plenty of material for this new musical endeavor.

For the single “Jitters,” the rapper enlisted the help of producer/musician Matt Brevner and the 5 octave voice of Dutch Robinson for a very unique take on hip-hop stylings.  The video for “Jitters” is equally refreshing – taking a step back to the mob’s heyday of bootlegging and speakeasy parties.
